Description: i'm sure everybody hates spending time creating a website only to see somebody else copy/paste your hard work into there own site without any permission at all.

a way to disable copying stuff would be nice. mainly for those of us who use wiki for sites without public editing.

This sounds like a good idea for a recipe in the Cookbook. I don't think there is one available yet, but you are more than welcome to write one and post to the Cookbook. -Diafygi (3/15/2009)

I don't think it is a good idea. Anything that displays on a browser can be copied, it actually is a copy of your data. A visitor could just disable JavaScript, or disallow the "disabling" right-click function, and it will be possible to copy anything. Such a "feature" may give you a false sense of security while there is really no way to do it. It's a bad idea to think you are "protected" when you are not. If you don't want your "hard" work to be copied, just don't post it online. --Petko March 15, 2009, at 03:46 AM
