FloatingImage

I will attempt to produce a floating text around an image here:

First, I will need a picture, preferably uploaded:

We start text immediately after the picture. Actually, there is a blank, as otherwise I feel that the *.jpg tag will get merged with "W" or "We" and must confuse the wiki...

And, as you will see above, the text starts not at the top corner of the picture (as the documentation says or implies - or the way I read it), but at the bottom corner of the picture. This can be overcome by what I termed "cheating" as follows

We start text immediately after the picture. Actually, there is a blank, as otherwise I feel that the *.jpg tag will get merged with "W" or "We" and must confuse the wiki... But... I did not say "align=left", in the first instance of the pix, did I? So my "cheating" is not really necessary. I will try it on the PCUG TIP site (PC Users Group of Canberra, The Internet Project), on my "Admin" page. And then I will be ready to admit confusion on my part -- again. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa --- I have tested it on my own page - the text does float around the picture, provided that the
   %align=left%

preceeds the attach <pix> command.

OldAl - our pmwiki example of text floating around the image is at:
