The problem with version 1 recipes is that they're not all working on 
version 2 of pmwiki.

However, in V2 you could do this with no recipe:

|| style=background-image=url(marble.gif)
||one||

It's not documented, but if Pm is OK with it, I'll add the example to 
SimpleTables.
