[pmwiki-users] PHP loading faster?

Hello,

I'm no techie but I noticed that when the main page is loaded, it's 
slow.  May take 3/4 of a second to load.

I wonder if there's configuration needed to be in Apache/PHP to make it 
faster.  Comment a few modules?

I'm using XAMPP installer (mac os x apache, mysql, php, and proftp) 
from the group called ApacheforFriends.

it's very easy to set up and I would like to speed up the wiki pages 
loading.

Any suggestions?
