[pmwiki-users] Summary line in PITS and Cookbook

The Cookbook and PITS groups both generate a "Summary: " line at the top
of each new page.
In the PITS group, the "Summary:"appears as the very first line of
markup on every page.
In the Cookbook group, however, the "Summary:"
(1) appears as the second line of markup: the first line is used for the
style: >>recipeinfo<<
(2) does not appear on many older pages
(3) appears on other lines on a few transitional pages
It would be nice to get the Summary line to appear as the first line of
markup on Cookbook pages. Having the Summary appear on the same line,
when it is used, provides consistency that makes it easier to use the
Summary information, when it is available.
For example, try running a search from PmWiki/Search to see how the
results look for pages in the PITS group when the summary line is
displayed (using a template that uses an include 1..1). (The same
results could be automatically generated by a template that tests for
the group and uses an include if the group is PITS).
To locate the Summary on the first line of markup, we could shift the
first line (>>recipeinfo<<) up to the header, and eliminate that line
from the template. The problem, of course, would be existing pages,
where the style would either be applied twice at the top, (see
TestGroup/TestGroup) or to the whole page (TestGroup/TestGroup3). Take
a look and see what you think: would these be unthinkable results, even
for a transition period? To return those pages to their original look,
we would have to edit each one, to either eliminate the first line
(>>recipeinfo<<) or paste in a >><< (or the first lines of the Cookbook
template). Could that process be made easier by some kind of keystroke
macro or batch process?
Are there other ways we could accomplish the same goal: making the
summary line more consistent, when it is used. Is the goal not
worthwhile, or at least not worth the effort required?
