You asked about hidden text. I'm not sure what you mean. By default, only the first paragraph shows on the month view of the calendar. The rest is hidden unless you select the page for that day. Is that what you mean? If you are wanting to hide page content, you can either put things inside of (:comment:) or you can use (:if false:) ... (:if:)
