CookbookLicenses
What rights do people have to use PmWiki recipes?
PmWiki doesn't assign licensing to community contributions. This is an attempt to make it easier for authors and users to understand the licensing for recipe components.
Description
License information for recipes.
Suggested Licenses
PmWiki is open-source software under the GPL2 license (linked to from here: http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html). For descriptions of open source software licenses, please see http://opensource.org/licenses. There's also a brief rundown of some open-sources licences at http://choosealicense.com/ (produced by GitHub).
Some recipes are not software. They are methods, documentation, tricks, tips, etc. These should also have a license, so please see https://creativecommons.org/licenses/ and note the CC0 option ("No rights reserved." http://creativecommons.org/about/cc0) mentioned on the linked page as well.
Usage
Please enter the standard license abbreviation and an optional link to the recipeinfo License:
in the cookbook recipe template.

- First attempt to make a page. Not sure what should or should not be documented, or if there are other boilerplate licenses that need mentioning. XES June 30, 2014, at 05:02 PM
