00230: slide show presentation
Description: I would like to have a slide show presentation alike http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/tools/s5/. Maybe it can be recycled.
This would enable us to put up a (very) quick presentation for speeches (or online only), if it comes to an opportunity to explain the current state your project to a particular auditory. Everyone in the work-group could help to prepare it, while the protagonist has not to bother over platform issues and can concentrate on its content.
Content has to be derived from existing wikipages, the shortest, I can think of, is marking start and end indexed, by increasing numbers if you grab themes across your wiki or simpler according to wikitrails. Text, pictures, embedded media should be supported.
Something similar was invented earlier for V1 by John Rankin http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook-V1/WikiPresentations
If the UI could take advantage of the new editor interface 00308 it would be nice.
In case a "FCK Editor" similar WYSIWIG would the choice of the new interface, which should be composed out of the existing GUI buttons (to enable a more flexible arrangement for administrators), I would vote for the same approach to craft this slide show engine.
I have to test this http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/SlideShow
If it works then this PIT can be closed
