Description: I'm french, sorry for my bad english !! In version 2.1.12 and in file authuser.php appear in line 34 : $pagename = ResolvePageName($pagename); or when this line is active, my local config of the variables $DefaultGroup and $DefaultPage did not work and my website indicates that the page Main.Homepage does not exist (that's right)... when I comment (with #) this line, my homepage is already here. The problem is when no page are written on URL, like a domain name : http://www.pmwiki.org/ I think it's a bug ? Thank you for pmwiki, it's very nice to use it ! Thomas

Fixed in 2.1.16 Thanks

I had the same bug as ThomasS og therefore upgradede my version to 2.1.18 and in this version the bug seems to have returned. Can this be confirmed?Tue

I'm running 2.1.26 and I seem to have this problem as well - I put {$DefaultGroup} in a page and it clearly shows that I have successfully set the page variable's value, yet the wiki's behaviour is not consistent with this. shi

This might be a solution for you. I'm running 2.1.27 and my installation didn't take care about my custom $DefaultGroup and $DefaultPage settings in the config.php file, UNTIL I put these lines back at the very beginning of the config.php file. Indeed, I added in the meanwhile some lines above for AuthUser, Site Analyzer, Markup Extensions and the RenamePage recipe. Now that the lines defining $DefaultGroup and $DefaultPage are back at the very top of the config.php file, they work again! Nicochto
