01325: Ordering pagelists by link counting

Description: If pagelist could order pages by the number of links to each, it would be easy to provide lists of popular pages - e.g. ( : pagelist order=linkto group=Profiles count=10 :) would show the 10 most active users, as measured by their posting signed messages. Changing this to order=linkfrom would show the pages that have the most links on them - e.g. the pages with the longest trails.

This would also allow some interesting applications, such as voting by adding your profile link to a Talk page. A dynamic list of the *-Talk pages with the most people talking on them could be easily generated. RandyB September 17, 2013, at 06:26 PM
