Add the following image types to those currently supported as default in PmWiki

.apng
.jpe, .jif, .jfif (all .jpeg)
webp. wepb is now supported from Safari version 14

Add these file extensions to default supported file upload types

Note there is a work-around, see Cookbook.Add Image Type

In the future AVIF is an image format to keep an eye on. Currently supported by Chrome and thus likely for other Blink based browsers including Edge, Cloudflare, and coming to Firefox.

APNG and WEBP Added for 2.2.133. I agree this AVIF format should be watched. --Petko
