[pmwiki-users] arabic text in the editor

hello.

i hope this question wasn't ask too many time before, anyway:

i tried to set up a pmwiki (latest version 2.1.10, charset is set to
utf-8 in php.ini) for some friends who work with arabic texts. when i
edit a page an paste arabic text into the edit field, it look ok, and
after saving the page the text is displayed correctly in the wiki.

unfortunately, when i try to reedit the page, i get something like:

"تالتال
نتالن&#1578"

so it seems the text is decoded for some reason.

i had a look at "pmwiki.org" and found:

http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/UTF8/UTF8

there, even in the editor, the arabic text looks fine. so it 
seems to be a fault on my side.

what to do?
